Movie Magic Scheduling Export Walkthrough

This guide will walk you through the process of exporting your schedule to MMS.

Export Steps

    In Shamel Studio, go to the Reports tab and click Download under MMS Export
  2. 2
    Open Movie Magic Scheduling and start a New Schedule
  3. 3
    In the File menu, choose Import, then click Yes to confirm
  4. 4
    Change the file type to ".sex" files so you can see the Shamel export
  5. 5
    Find and select the file you just downloaded from Shamel Studio
  6. 6
    Once it loads, delete the empty scene that appears on the stripboard
  7. 7
    Open the boneyard – that's where your real scenes are
  8. 8
    Select all the scenes and move them to your stripboard

Export Steps

    In Shamel Studio, go to the Reports tab and click Download under MMS Export

    Open Movie Magic Scheduling and create a New Schedule
  3. 3
    Go to the File menu and choose Import Script
  4. 4
    Find and select the .sex file you downloaded from Shamel Studio
  5. 5
    Once it loads, delete the empty scene that appears in your stripboard
  6. 6
    Open the boneyard – that's where your actual scenes are
  7. 7
    Select all the scenes and move them onto your stripboard

Important Note

Due to MMS 10 limitations, synopses, script days and locations appear in different fields or unapplied. Please review these fields after import.
